Very few bands survive for four decades. Even fewer are those that continue to reach new creative heights, long after legendary status has been achieved. Voïvod were never like other bands: even as the thrash metal scene exploded in the early ‘80s, the Jonquière, Québec crew stood apart, both as unique visionaries and as proud subverters of the metallic norm. THE CAVE OPENS.
INFEST III descends deeper into the abyss with the arrival of MORTUARY CAVE — a primeval sludge/doom trio forged from the filth-ridden corners of BC. Crawling from the rotten earth, Dave and Shane of Hoopsnake unite with Kay (Chapel, Radioactive Vomit) to unleash their most vile and crushing creation yet.
Tectonic riffs and funeral-drummed rhythms echoing through collapsing caverns.
A suffocating wall of primordial sludge, Ruin & Doom. Mortuary Cave is steeped in decay, smoke, and subterranean violence as they bring their filthiest concoction to the 3rd annual INFEST.

The 3rd Annual INFEST summons one of Canada’s most enigmatic conjurers of shadow and steel — SPELL.
Where tragic magic intertwines with the wretched heart, SPELL weave a spellbound procession of occult rock and deathly majesty. Cathedral echoes, candlelit ruin, and melodies steeped in sorrow will rise for an evening of mystical ambience, ceremonial excess and doomed romance.
